Pump Technician

We are looking for an experienced Pump Technician to carry out installation maintenance troubleshooting repair and overhaul of various types of pumps and rotating equipment used in oil & gas and petrochemical facilities.

• Perform preventive and corrective maintenance of centrifugal reciprocating screw gear and other industrial pumps.
• Dismantle inspect repair overhaul and reassemble pumps and associated equipment.
• Diagnose mechanical faults vibration leakage alignment and performance issues.
• Carry out pump shaft alignment mechanical seal replacement bearing replacement and coupling maintenance.
• Read and interpret equipment manuals drawings and technical specifications.
• Conduct routine inspections and identify potential equipment failures.
• Assist with installation commissioning and testing of pumps and rotating equipment.
• Ensure all maintenance activities are completed safely and according to approved procedures.
• Maintain accurate maintenance records and report equipment conditions to supervisors.
• Follow HSE permit-to-work lockout/tagout and oil & gas site safety requirements.

• Diploma / ITI / Technical qualification in Mechanical Engineering or a related field.
• 3–5 years of experience as a Pump Technician / Mechanical Technician in the Oil & Gas Petrochemical Refinery or Process Plant industry.
• Strong hands-on experience with industrial pumps and rotating equipment.
• Knowledge of mechanical seals bearings couplings pump alignment and troubleshooting.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a maintenance team.
• Good knowledge of industrial safety procedures and practices.
• Oil & Gas / refinery maintenance experience is highly preferred.
