Project Planning Engineer
Job Summary
We are seeking for a Project / Planning Engineer who will be responsible for planning scheduling coordinating and monitoring engineering and maintenance projects within the oil & gas and energy sectors. The role ensures projects are executed safely efficiently and within approved timelines while supporting project controls resource planning and stakeholder coordination.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain project schedules and execution plans.
- Monitor project progress and ensure adherence to approved timelines.
- Coordinate with engineering procurement and operations teams.
- Track project milestones risks and resource requirements.
- Prepare progress reports and management updates.
- Support project budgeting forecasting and cost control activities.
- Ensure compliance with project specifications quality standards and HSE requirements.
Requirements
- Bachelors Degree in Mechanical Engineering.
- PMP Primavera P6 MS Project or equivalent project management certification preferred.
- Minimum 10 years of overall experience in oil & gas energy or industrial projects.
- Minimum 5 years of experience as a Project Engineer or Planning Engineer.
- Experience in rotating equipment turbomachinery compressors pumps or turbine projects preferred.
- Strong understanding of project lifecycle management scheduling budgeting and execution.
- Proficient in project planning software and reporting tools.
Required Skills:
