Job Summary
About the Role:
We are seeking an experienced Pre-Commissioning Supervisor - Piping to for our client in the Oil & Gas industry. The ideal candidate will drive successful project completions while maintaining the highest safety standards.
Responsibilities:
- Review project engineering technical and SHES documentation
- Prepare pre-commissioning Method Statements JSAs and work packs for pre-commissioning activities
- Develop pre-commissioning schedules and resource plans
- Identify pre-commissioning and commissioning tools test equipment temporary facilities lubricants consumables and third-party services required for work execution
- Provide input to the Completions database for system and sub-system population in conjunction with the Completions team
- Participate in constructability reviews to ensure efficient pre-commissioning and handover
- Ensure all commissioning data documentation and handovers comply with Completions processes and project procedures
- Play an active role in maintaining a strong safety culture within the Pre-commissioning team
- Prepare accurate pre-commissioning progress and status reports
Requirements:
- Minimum 7 years of experience in a similar position as Pre-Commissioning Engineer in the Oil & Gas industry
- Diploma or in Mechanical Engineering
- Excellent verbal and written command of English
- Experience with pre-commissioning activities method statements and commissioning procedures
- Strong knowledge of SHES documentation and safety standards
- Ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams
- Qatar Ras-Laffan work experience is preferred
