We are seeking an experienced PMO Project Manager (PMO Lead) to lead the Project Management Office (PMO) and drive enterprise-wide digital transformation initiatives. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing strategic project portfolios establishing PMO governance mentoring project teams and ensuring successful delivery of complex IT and business transformation projects.
The role requires a strong leader with extensive experience in banking and financial services capable of providing executive-level advisory to the CEO and senior leadership while ensuring projects are delivered on time within budget and aligned with organizational strategy.
- Lead and manage the organization's PMO function and project governance framework.
- Develop implement and continuously improve PMO methodologies standards policies templates and best practices.
- Establish portfolio governance project prioritization capacity planning and resource optimization.
- Develop executive dashboards KPIs and portfolio reporting for senior management.
- Mentor coach and manage Project Managers Business Analysts and PMO staff to build a high-performing delivery organization.
- Manage multiple strategic IT and digital transformation projects simultaneously from initiation through closure.
- Define project scope objectives deliverables schedules budgets and success criteria.
- Develop and maintain comprehensive project plans roadmaps and implementation strategies.
- Monitor project progress budgets timelines quality risks issues and dependencies.
- Ensure effective resource allocation across multiple projects and programs.
- Lead project steering committees and governance meetings.
- Lead enterprise digital transformation initiatives aligned with organizational strategy.

- Act as the primary liaison between executive management business units IT teams and external vendors.
- Provide strategic recommendations and portfolio updates to the CEO and executive leadership.
- Manage stakeholder expectations through effective communication and governance.
- Escalate critical risks and issues with appropriate mitigation strategies.
- Identify assess and manage project risks issues and dependencies.
- Ensure project deliverables meet organizational quality standards.
- Conduct project health checks and post-implementation reviews.
- Capture lessons learned and drive continuous improvement across the PMO.
- Support RFP development by reviewing technical requirements and project scope.
- Participate in vendor evaluations proposal reviews and technical assessments.
- Monitor vendor performance and contractual deliverables throughout project execution.
- Collaborate with business and technical teams to develop testing strategies and implementation plans.
- Oversee SIT UAT and production deployment activities.
- Ensure successful project transition into business operations.
- Coordinate PMO activities across business and technology teams.
- Train departments on PMO processes methodologies and project management tools.
- Support departmental objectives and perform additional duties as assigned.
- Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science Information Systems Information Technology Engineering or a related discipline.
- Master's Degree or MBA is an advantage.
- Minimum 8 years of progressive experience in IT Project Management and PMO.
- At least 3 years leading a PMO function within the Banking or Financial Services industry.
- Proven experience managing enterprise-wide digital transformation programs.
- Demonstrated success delivering multiple concurrent large-scale IT projects.
- Experience working with executive leadership and C-level stakeholders.
- PMP (Project Management Professional) – Mandatory
- PRINCE2 Practitioner – Mandatory
- Agile Certification (Scrum Master PMI-ACP SAFe or equivalent) – Preferred
