Piping & Pipeline Designer Draughtsman

We are seeking an experienced Piping & Pipeline Designer / Draughtsman for a 2-month project in Dukhan Qatar. The candidate will be responsible for preparing and modifying piping and pipeline drawings layouts isometrics fabrication drawings and related engineering documentation in accordance with project specifications and applicable standards.

• Prepare detailed piping and pipeline drawings based on P&IDs engineering specifications design criteria and project requirements.

• Develop piping layouts General Arrangement (GA) drawings plans sections and elevations.

• Prepare and revise piping isometric drawings for fabrication and construction.

• Prepare pipeline alignment drawings route layouts profiles and crossing details.

• Develop fabrication spool and construction drawings as required.

• Interpret P&IDs plot plans piping specifications equipment layouts and engineering drawings.

• Prepare piping arrangements around pumps compressors vessels tanks and other equipment.

• Ensure correct representation of piping components valves fittings supports and materials.

• Incorporate engineering revisions and site modifications into drawings.

• Coordinate with Piping Engineers Pipeline Engineers Civil Structural Mechanical and other disciplines.

• Prepare and update as-built drawings based on site conditions and approved changes.

• Assist in preparation of MTO/BOM and extraction of piping information from drawings.

• Maintain drawing registers revisions and project documentation.

• Check drawings for accuracy completeness dimensions and compliance with project standards.

• Ensure all design and drafting activities comply with applicable client project ASME API and engineering standards.

• Follow all site HSE requirements while working in the Dukhan project environment.

• Diploma or Bachelor’s Degree in Mechanical Engineering Piping Design Drafting or a related discipline.

• Minimum 3–5 years of relevant experience as a Piping Designer / Piping Draughtsman / Pipeline Draughtsman.

• Experience in oil & gas refinery petrochemical LNG pipeline or industrial projects.

• Strong proficiency in AutoCAD.

• Experience with Piping Isometrics GA Drawings P&IDs piping layouts and pipeline drawings.

• Good understanding of piping components fittings valves supports and piping materials.

• Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings and technical specifications.

• Valid H2S Card from a QatarEnergy-approved training center – Mandatory.

• Must be available for the full 2-month assignment in Dukhan.

• Experience with AutoCAD Plant 3D E3D/PDMS SmartPlant 3D MicroStation or similar software.

• Previous Qatar/GCC oil & gas experience.

• Experience with QatarEnergy projects is highly preferred.

• Knowledge of ASME API ISO and relevant client standards.

• Experience with both above-ground and underground piping/pipeline systems.

• Knowledge of piping supports fabrication and spool drawings and MTO preparation.
