Job Summary
Responsibilities
- Assist skilled workers with general site maintenance and support activities in Oil & Gas facilities.
- Carry load unload and move tools equipment pipes and materials safely.
- Support basic mechanical civil rigging and maintenance works under supervision.
- Assist with cleaning preparation dismantling and housekeeping activities.
- Use basic hand tools and equipment safely as instructed.
- Follow instructions from supervisors and technicians during site activities.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of work areas.
- Comply with HSE PTW PPE toolbox talks and site safety requirements.
- Report unsafe conditions damaged tools or hazards immediately.
Requirements
- Minimum 13 years of relevant experience as a Laborer or Semi-Skilled Worker in the Oil & Gas industry.
- Previous experience in Oil & Gas plants shutdowns turnarounds or maintenance projects preferred.
- Basic knowledge of material handling site work and safe use of hand tools.
- Ability to understand and follow supervisor instructions.
- Physically fit and capable of lifting carrying and performing manual work.
- Good understanding of PPE HSE and safe work practices.
- Willingness to work outdoors in shifts and in demanding Oil & Gas site conditions.
- Good teamwork discipline and reliability.
- Immediate availability preferred.
Required Skills:
Physical Fitness: Ability to lift carry and move heavy materials; work in confined or elevated spaces. Experience: Previous experience in insulation work is an advantage but not always required for helper roles. Knowledge: Basic understanding of insulation materials tools and techniques (training is usually provided for helpers). Team Player: Willingness to work under supervision and assist skilled workers. Work Conditions: Comfortable working in cold environments outdoors or at heights. Communication: Ability to follow verbal and written instructions; basic understanding of workplace safety signs and labels.
