OUR EXPECTATIONS FROM THE ROLE:
The Membership Coordinator is responsible for supporting the Spa and Recreation team in managing membership sales renewals member relations and administrative functions. This role ensures an exceptional luxury experience for members while promoting spa memberships maintaining accurate records and supporting revenue growth objectives in accordance with The Ritz-Carlton Gold Standards.
Membership Administration- Manage membership enrollment renewals upgrades and cancellations.
- Maintain accurate membership records within company systems.
- Process membership applications contracts payments and related documentation.
- Monitor membership expiration dates and proactively communicate renewal opportunities.
- Prepare membership reports and statistics for management review.
- Serve as the primary point of contact for spa members.
- Build strong relationships with members and ensure exceptional guest satisfaction.
- Handle member inquiries requests and concerns professionally and promptly.
- Conduct facility tours and explain membership benefits and services.
- Support member engagement activities and special events.
- Promote spa memberships and wellness programs to prospective guests.
- Follow up on sales leads and membership inquiries.
- Assist in achieving membership sales and retention targets.
- Identify opportunities to upsell membership packages and spa services.
- Collaborate with the Spa Management team on promotional campaigns.
- Coordinate with Spa Reception Recreation Finance and Sales teams.
- Ensure membership procedures comply with company policies and standards.
- Assist with scheduling member activities and wellness events.
- Maintain confidentiality of member information.
- Support daily spa operations when required.
- Deliver service aligned with The Ritz-Carlton Customer Engagement standards.
- Anticipate member needs and personalize interactions.
- Resolve service challenges effectively and escalate issues when necessary.
- Create memorable experiences that foster member loyalty and retention.
- High school diploma or equivalent required.
- Bachelors degree in Hospitality Business Administration Marketing or related field preferred.
- Minimum 12 years of experience in hospitality luxury spa fitness club wellness center or membership sales environment.
- Experience with Marriott systems is an advantage.
- Strong customer service and relationship-building skills.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English.
- Sales-oriented mindset with strong negotiation skills.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications.
- Strong organizational and administrative abilities.
- Ability to multitask in a fast-paced luxury hospitality environment.
- Professional appearance and demeanor.
- Knowledge of spa wellness fitness and recreation operations preferred.
