Perform preventive corrective and emergency maintenance on all assigned Material Handling Equipment (MHE).
Diagnose mechanical hydraulic electrical and pneumatic faults and carry out repairs.
Inspect equipment to identify defects wear and potential failures.
Repair and replace defective components parts and assemblies.
Conduct routine servicing lubrication adjustments and equipment calibration as required.
Ensure all equipment is maintained in safe and operational condition.
Respond promptly to equipment breakdowns to minimize operational downtime.
Maintain accurate maintenance logs service reports and repair records.
Perform functional testing after repairs to ensure equipment reliability.
Coordinate with warehouse and operations personnel to schedule maintenance activities.
Ensure compliance with manufacturer recommendations safety procedures and maintenance standards.
Maintain proper housekeeping of the workshop tools and spare parts.
Report recurring equipment issues and recommend improvements to enhance reliability and performance.
Support equipment inspections audits and operational readiness activities.
Requirements
Minimum 35 years of experience in maintenance and repair of Material Handling Equipment (MHE).
Diploma or ITI in Mechanical Engineering Automobile Heavy Equipment or a related technical trade.
Hands-on experience servicing forklifts pallet trucks reach trucks stackers tow tractors scissor lifts boom lifts telehandlers and other warehouse/material handling equipment.
Strong knowledge of hydraulic mechanical pneumatic and diesel systems.
Ability to diagnose and troubleshoot mechanical and equipment failures.
Experience using maintenance tools testing equipment and diagnostic instruments.
