Job Summary
- Supervise daily mechanical site work including maintenance shutdown installation dismantling and repairs.
- Assign tasks and coordinate technicians helpers tools materials and contractors.
- Monitor work progress and ensure activities follow approved procedures drawings and safety requirements.
- Report work status site issues and completion details to the engineer or client.
- Diploma or relevant technical qualification in Mechanical Engineering.
- Minimum 5 years of experience supervising industrial or Oil & Gas mechanical work.
- Relevant Qatar experience in maintenance shutdown activities machinery installation and dismantling and piping modifications.
- Strong team coordination site supervision safety awareness and reporting skills
Required Skills:
Physical Fitness: Ability to lift carry and move heavy materials; work in confined or elevated spaces. Experience: Previous experience in insulation work is an advantage but not always required for helper roles. Knowledge: Basic understanding of insulation materials tools and techniques (training is usually provided for helpers). Team Player: Willingness to work under supervision and assist skilled workers. Work Conditions: Comfortable working in cold environments outdoors or at heights. Communication: Ability to follow verbal and written instructions; basic understanding of workplace safety signs and labels.
