Job Summary

Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced Mechanical Engineer with a strong Facilities Management background to join our team in Doha Qatar. The successful candidate will be responsible for overseeing the operation maintenance and optimization of mechanical systems across commercial residential and mixed-use facilities while ensuring compliance with safety quality and performance standards.

Arabic nationality candidates are preferred. Immediate mobilization is required.

Key Responsibilities

  • Manage and supervise the operation and maintenance of HVAC plumbing firefighting and other mechanical systems.
  • Ensure preventive and corrective maintenance activities are executed effectively and within agreed service levels.
  • Conduct inspections and technical assessments of facility assets to ensure optimal performance and reliability.
  • Review maintenance reports technical documentation and contractor performance.
  • Coordinate with clients subcontractors and internal teams to resolve technical issues and improve service delivery.
  • Monitor asset lifecycle energy efficiency initiatives and maintenance planning activities.
  • Ensure compliance with local regulations health and safety standards and FM best practices.
  • Support budgeting cost control and procurement activities related to mechanical systems.
  • Participate in emergency response and troubleshooting of critical mechanical equipment failures.
  • Prepare technical reports maintenance schedules and performance evaluations.

  • Bachelors Degree in Mechanical Engineering.
  • Minimum 58 years of experience in Facilities Management Building Maintenance or Property Management environments.
  • Strong knowledge of HVAC systems chillers pumps plumbing firefighting systems and building services.
  • Experience managing maintenance contractors and service providers.
  • Familiarity with CAFM systems and preventive maintenance programs.
  • Strong problem-solving communication and stakeholder management skills.
  • Knowledge of local Qatar regulations and FM industry standards is preferred.
  • Valid Qatar ID and immediate availability are highly preferred.
  • Arabic nationality preferred.
