Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced Material Inspector to support infrastructure and construction projects by ensuring materials comply with project specifications quality standards and applicable regulations. The ideal candidate will possess extensive GCC experience and the ability to perform complex technical support activities with minimal supervision.

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct inspections of construction materials to verify compliance with approved specifications standards and project requirements.

• Review material submittals test reports and supplier documentation to ensure conformity with project quality requirements.

• Perform site inspections and coordinate with contractors consultants and project teams to address material-related issues.

• Provide technical support in drafting graphic design engineering coordination and document control activities.

• Assist in the preparation and computation of document control and project KPIs.

• Support IT network administration activities as required to facilitate project operations.

• Maintain accurate inspection records reports and related documentation.

• Identify non-conformances and recommend corrective actions to ensure project quality objectives are met.

• Carry out assigned duties independently while adhering to project schedules and quality standards.

Requirements

• Technical Diploma in a relevant discipline.

• Minimum of 15 years of professional experience preferably in infrastructure or construction projects.

• Valid UPDA/MMUP certification with a minimum grade of Trainee.

• Mandatory GCC experience.

• Demonstrated ability to undertake complex technical support tasks with limited supervision.

• Proficiency in drafting tools document management systems and Microsoft Office applications.

• Strong communication coordination and problem-solving skills.
