Legal Advisor

Job Purpose:

To provide legal support and advice to the company ensuring full compliance with applicable laws and regulations in Qatar and protecting the company’s legal and commercial interests.

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide legal advice on corporate commercial labor and civil law matters.
• Review draft and negotiate contracts and agreements (including employment contracts service agreements and others).
• Ensure all company documents and transactions comply with Qatar laws and regulations.
• Support HR in legal matters related to recruitment employee relations and termination processes.
• Manage legal risks by identifying issues and recommending preventive measures.
• Prepare legal notices responses complaints and official correspondence.
• Liaise with external legal counsel and coordinate litigation and dispute resolution cases.
• Represent or support the company in legal proceedings when required.
• Conduct legal research and provide written/oral legal opinions to management and subsidiaries.
• Monitor updates in laws and regulations and advise management on necessary actions.
• Support in company registrations regulatory compliance and governmental liaison.
• Assist in debt recovery and legal proceedings related to receivables when needed.
• Ensure proper legal filing documentation and contract management systems.

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in Law or equivalent.
• Minimum 5–8 years of experience in corporate/legal advisory roles.
• Strong knowledge of Qatar laws and regulations.
• Experience in contract drafting litigation support and corporate compliance.
• Bilingual (English & Arabic) is preferred.
• Strong analytical negotiation and communication skills.

Preferred Skills:

• Experience in construction engineering or industrial sectors is an advantage.
• Ability to work with external law firms and manage legal cases.
• Strong attention to detail and risk management mindset.
