Job Summary
- Location: Qatar
- Preferred Nationality: Non Indians/Pakistani
- Bachelor’s degree in Electrical/ Electronics/Instrumentation Engineering
- Minimum 7-10 Years Experience with at least 3 years in a similar Lead role in a Petrochemical Industry.
- Rich experience in the domains of Maintenance Reliability and Technical Support of Field Instrumentation and Electrical Distribution/Protection System of a large-scale process plant.
- Position requires thorough knowledge of Instrument and Electrical design and engineering practices as applied to the petrochemical industries.
- Experience with design and maintenance of Plant Instrumentation Control Valves Safety Instrumented Systems and process safety management programs.
- Experience in protection and control systems of a large scale process plant involving High and Medium Voltages (132/33/6KV) switchgears MCCs Transformers Induction motors.
- Working Knowledge of International Standards related to I&E Equipment design and maintenance such as IEC IEEE ISA FCI etc as well as Functional Safety standards IEC61511/ISA 84.
- Good understanding of Process Safety Management (PSM) Process Hazard Analysis (PHA) OSHA NFPA and ANSI regulations.
- Functional Safety Engineer Certification as Functional Safety Engineer (FS Eng/CFSP/CFSE) from a recognized Certifying body (TUV Exida)
- Preferred Certifications: Reliability and Maintenance Certifications such as CMRP CRE.
