Job Summary
Landscaping Manager
This role oversees the planning maintenance beautification and sustainability of the propertys outdoor environment while managing the landscaping team budgets contractors irrigation systems and horticultural programs to deliver an exceptional guest experience.
What you will be doing:
- Lead and manage the daily operations ensuring all outdoor areas are maintained to luxury hospitality standards.
- Develop and implement preventive maintenance schedules for gardens lawns trees shrubs flower beds and green spaces.
- Supervise train motivate and evaluate the landscaping team to ensure high performance and productivity.
- Plan seasonal planting programs floral displays and landscape enhancements that align with the propertys standards.
- Monitor the health of plants trees and turf implementing pest and disease control measures when required.
- Manage irrigation systems to ensure efficient water usage and optimal landscape health.
- Coordinate landscaping projects renovations and beautification initiatives with internal departments and external contractors.
- Conduct routine inspections of outdoor areas identifying improvement opportunities and ensuring corrective actions are completed promptly.
- Prepare and manage departmental budgets monitor expenses and optimize resource utilization.
- Procure landscaping materials plants fertilizers equipment and supplies while maintaining inventory levels.
Qualifications :
- Bachelors Degree in Horticulture Landscape Management Agriculture Environmental Science or a related field.
- Minimum 6-8 years of landscaping or horticulture experience with at least 2 years in a leadership role within a luxury hotel resort theme park or large commercial property.
- Strong knowledge of horticulture irrigation systems turf management pest control and landscape maintenance.
- Experience managing large and multiple outdoor facilities.
- Knowledge of landscaping equipment operation and preventive maintenance.
- Strong planning organizational and project management skills.
- Budget management and cost control experience.
- Excellent leadership communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work flexible hours based on operational requirements.
