Integration Developer- IBM ACE

Job Summary:

We are seeking a skilled Integration Developer with hands-on experience in IBM App Connect Enterprise (ACE) to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for designing developing and maintaining integration solutions across various systems and applications ensuring secure scalable and high-performing data exchange processes.

Key Responsibilities:

• Design and develop integration flows using IBM App Connect Enterprise (ACE)
• Analyze business and system requirements to deliver efficient integration solutions
• Configure message flows integration services and connectors to internal and external systems
• Implement transformation logic using ESQL Java XSLT or other supported tools within ACE
• Integrate applications via multiple transport protocols — HTTP MQ SOAP REST JDBC etc.
• Develop and consume APIs; manage data transformations (XML JSON CSV)
• Collaborate with architects analysts and developers to ensure integrations align with enterprise architecture
• Create and maintain technical documentation for integration solutions
• Monitor debug and resolve issues related to message flow and system integration
• Ensure compliance with security and data governance standards
• Participate in code reviews and performance tuning of integration components

Required Skills and Experience:

• Proven hands-on experience with IBM App Connect Enterprise (ACE) (v11 or later)
• Experience working with various protocols (HTTP MQ FTP JDBC etc.)
• Experience working with message queues and middleware (e.g. IBM MQ)
• Strong proficiency in ESQL Java XSLT and SOAP/REST web services
• Solid understanding of SOA API-driven architectures and integration patterns
• Familiarity with DevOps practices and tools (e.g. Git Jenkins CI/CD pipelines)
• Familiarity with API Management tools (such as IBM API Connect Apigee Azure API Management etc.)
• Linux scripting Git Jenkins/UrbanCode
• OpenShift/Kubernetes experience is desirable
• Basic understanding of IBM API Connect and DataPower is desirable
• Strong problem-solving and debugging skills
• Excellent communication skills

Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience in cloud integration (IBM Cloud Azure AWS)
• Knowledge of other integration tools such as MuleSoft Dell Boomi WSO2 or Apache Camel
• IBM ACE certification is a plus
