We are Sisco Jobs a recruitment consultancy based in Trichy Tamil Nadu. We are hiring on behalf of our client for the position of Instrument Technician. Our client is a reputed organization in the Industrial sector seeking skilled and motivated professionals. If you meet the requirements below apply early as positions are limited.
Key Responsibilities
- Perform instrument loop checking activities.
- Carry out calibration of field instruments.
- Execute instrumentation construction activities.
- Install test and commission instrumentation systems.
- Troubleshoot instrument faults and ensure system reliability.
- Follow project specifications and safety standards.
- Coordinate with engineering and maintenance teams.
- Maintain calibration and inspection records.
Required Skills
- Loop Checking Hands-on commissioning experience.
- Instrument Calibration Accurate calibration of field devices.
- Industrial Instrumentation Maintenance and installation knowledge.
- Oil & Gas / Power Plant Experience Industrial project exposure.
- Construction Activities Instrument installation and testing.
Preferred Skills
- Commissioning experience.
- Knowledge of HSE practices.
- Reading P&ID and instrumentation drawings.
Work Experience Requirements
Minimum 3 years of experience in loop checking calibration and instrumentation construction activities in Oil & Gas Power Plant Shipyard or similar industrial sectors.
Education
- Minimum: ITI / Diploma
- Preferred: Diploma in Instrumentation/Electrical
- Additional Certifications: Instrument Calibration or Safety Certifications (preferred)
Required Skills:
Strong knowledge of HSE laws regulations and international standards. Expertise in risk assessment hazard identification and incident investigation. Familiarity with Quality Management Systems (QMS). Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills. Strong communication and leadership abilities. Ability to conduct audits and training programs effectively. Proficiency in MS Office and reporting tools.
