Job Summary
Job Title: Instrument Engineer
Client: Descon Engineering
Payroll: MSI
Duration: 3-6 Months
We are hiring an experienced Instrument Engineer for an Oil & Gas project in Qatar.
Requirements:
- Bachelor's Degree or Diploma in Instrumentation Electrical Electronics or a related Engineering discipline.
- Minimum 10 years of experience in the Oil & Gas industry.
- Proven hands-on experience in:
- Instrument loop testing
- Instrument hook-up works
- Calibration of field instruments
- Calibration testing and commissioning of control valves
- Strong knowledge of commissioning pre-commissioning troubleshooting and maintenance of instrumentation systems.
- Ability to read and interpret P&IDs loop drawings hook-up drawings and instrument datasheets.
- Experience with DCS/PLC/SIS systems will be an advantage.
Experience in refineries petrochemical plants LNG facilities gas processing plants or offshore/onshore Oil & Gas projects is preferred
