HSE Security Officer

We are seeking a detail-oriented and professional HSE Security Officer to join our team in Lusail this role you will be responsible for maintaining a safe secure and compliant work environment by implementing and enforcing health safety and security protocols. You will play a critical role in protecting our organizations assets personnel and operations while ensuring adherence to local and international HSE standards.

• Conduct regular security patrols and surveillance of company premises including buildings parking areas and restricted zones
• Monitor and manage access control systems CCTV cameras and alarm systems to ensure facility security
• Identify assess and document potential health safety and security hazards throughout the workplace
• Investigate security incidents accidents and near-misses; prepare detailed reports and recommend corrective actions
• Enforce compliance with HSE policies procedures and Qatar labor law requirements
• Respond promptly to security breaches emergencies and safety incidents; coordinate with emergency services when necessary
• Conduct safety inspections and audits to verify adherence to established protocols
• Maintain accurate and organized records of security incidents inspections and maintenance activities
• Provide security briefings and HSE training to employees on relevant policies and procedures
• Collaborate with management and other departments to develop and improve safety and security initiatives
• Ensure proper use and maintenance of personal protective equipment (PPE) across the organization
• Monitor visitor access and maintain visitor logs in compliance with security procedures

Qualifications :

• Proven experience as a Security Officer HSE Officer or similar role in a corporate or industrial environment
• Strong knowledge of health safety and environmental (HSE) regulations and best practices
• Familiarity with Qatar labor laws and local HSE compliance requirements
• Proficiency in security systems access control and CCTV monitoring
• Excellent analytical and risk assessment skills
• Strong written and verbal communication abilities
• Exceptional organizational and record-keeping skills
• Ability to remain calm and make decisive decisions in emergency situations
• Physical fitness and ability to perform regular patrols and inspections
• Proficiency in incident investigation and root cause analysis
• Knowledge of emergency response procedures and protocols
• Preferred: First aid/CPR certification or equivalent
• Preferred: Previous experience with security clearance processes
• Preferred: Leadership or supervisory experience in security or safety roles
• Preferred: Conflict resolution and de-escalation skills
