Job Summary

To ensure compliance with QCS 2014 applicable HSE regulations and project-specific safety requirements while promoting and maintaining a safe healthy and environmentally responsible work environment.

Key Responsibilities

  • Conduct daily HSE inspections and site audits to ensure compliance with project requirements and HSE regulations.
  • Enforce HSE policies procedures and safe working practices across all work activities.
  • Review verify and monitor Permit-to-Work (PTW) requirements.
  • Assess and review Risk Assessments (RA) and Method Statements (MS) to ensure suitability and compliance.
  • Conduct site safety inductions toolbox talks and HSE awareness training sessions.
  • Investigate incidents accidents hazardous occurrences and near misses and implement corrective and preventive actions.
  • Prepare daily weekly and monthly HSE reports and maintain accurate HSE records and documentation.
  • Participate in and coordinate emergency response drills and preparedness activities.
  • Monitor environmental compliance and implement environmental protection measures.
  • Liaise and coordinate with the Client consultants and subcontractors on all HSE-related matters.
  • Support internal and external HSE audits inspections and compliance reviews.
  • Exercise Stop Work Authority whenever unsafe acts or unsafe conditions are identified.

Qualifications :

  • Sound knowledge of QCS 2014 applicable HSE regulations and safety management systems.
  • NEBOSH International General Certificate (IGC) is mandatory.
  • Minimum 4 years of HSE experience in the GCC region.
  • Knowledge of ISO 45001 Occupational Health & Safety Management Systems.
  • Strong communication interpersonal and report-writing skills.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications (Word Excel PowerPoint and Outlook).
  • Ability to work independently with minimal supervision and effectively as part of a multidisciplinary team.
  • Strong analytical problem-solving and incident investigation skills.
  • Commitment to promoting a positive safety culture and continuous improvement in HSE performance.
