Heavy Equipment Mechanic

Location: Qatar
Hiring Preference: Only Qatar-based candidates
Experience Required: Minimum 4 years

We are seeking a skilled and experienced Heavy Equipment Mechanic to join our team in Qatar. The ideal candidate will be responsible for diagnosing repairing maintaining and overhauling heavy construction and earthmoving equipment to ensure optimal performance and safety.

• Inspect diagnose and repair mechanical hydraulic electrical and pneumatic systems of heavy equipment.

• Perform preventive maintenance and routine servicing on machinery and equipment.

• Troubleshoot equipment breakdowns and identify root causes of failures.

• Repair and replace defective components including engines transmissions hydraulic pumps cylinders and braking systems.

• Conduct equipment testing after repairs to ensure proper functionality.

• Maintain accurate service and maintenance records.

• Ensure compliance with company safety standards and workshop procedures.

• Coordinate with supervisors and operators regarding equipment conditions and repair requirements.

• Minimize equipment downtime through efficient maintenance practices.

• Minimum 4 years of experience as a Heavy Equipment Mechanic.

• Must be currently residing in Qatar.

• Strong knowledge of diesel engines hydraulics electrical systems and heavy equipment diagnostics.

• Ability to read technical manuals and troubleshooting guides.

• Experience using diagnostic tools and equipment.

• Good problem-solving and communication skills.

• Technical certification or diploma in Mechanical Engineering/Automobile Engineering is preferred.
