Head Of Radio Communication
Job Summary
Manage preventive and corrective maintenance performance for all Radio Communications systems including radio dispatch voice/VHF RFID and related support systems.
Lead subject-matter experts and ensure adequate technical coverage competency and certification within the team.
Review and approve method statements SOPs preventive-maintenance schedules and technical procedures.
Lead root-cause analysis and problem management for major and recurring incidents.
Monitor SLA performance system availability maintenance completion and repeat-incident reduction.
Report technical and operational performance to the Service Delivery Manager.
Desktop support certification such as CompTIA Microsoft or equivalent.
ITIL Foundation certification and Barco Extron or equivalent AV/video-wall training.
*Minimum 4 years* of hands-on experience supporting the relevant systems in a comparable environment.
Strong knowledge of desktop infrastructure video-wall systems processors displays firmware and software maintenance.
Strong diagnostic troubleshooting and root-cause-analysis skills.
Experience coordinating with OEMs and managing technical escalations.
Good documentation knowledge-transfer and mentoring capability.
Bachelors Degree or Diploma in Engineering IT Telecommunications Electronics or a related discipline.
Minimum 10 years of hands-on experience with relevant radio communication systems in a large enterprise or airport environment.
Proven experience in team leadership technical supervision and mentoring.
Relevant certification or product training in radio/voice systems VHF RFID or frequency-management systems ITIL Foundation certification.
Strong technical knowledge of radio communications dispatch systems voice/VHF infrastructure and RFID technologies.
Experience managing OEM relationships vendor escalations and technical support cases.
Strong troubleshooting root-cause analysis problem-solving and documentation skills.
