Government Relations Officer
Job Summary
The Government Relations Officer is responsible for managing all government-related transactions ensuring full compliance with Qatari labor laws immigration rules and municipal regulations. The role ensures smooth operational workflows by handling official documentation visas permits and licenses required for both the hotel property and its multicultural workforce.
Qualifications :
Education: Diploma or Bachelors Degree in Business Administration Human Resources Law or a related discipline.
Experience: Minimum 2 to 4 years of proven experience working as a PRO or Government Relations Officer specifically within the hospitality or tourism industry in Qatar.
Legal Knowledge: In-depth up-to-date knowledge of Qatar Labor Law immigration legislation and municipality compliance standards.
Language Skills: Fluency in both written and spoken Arabic and English is strictly mandatory due to the nature of interactions with Arabic-speaking government officials and a multicultural hotel staff.
Technical Skills: Fully proficient in using Qatari government portals and online e-services.
License: A valid Qatari Driving License is heavily preferred/required for frequent travel to various ministries and government offices.
Competencies: Highly organized proactive discreet with confidential data and possessing strong interpersonal and problem-solving skills.
