Job Summary
Read and interpret engineering drawings blueprints and technical specifications.
Measure cut shape and assemble metal components using hand tools power tools and fabrication machinery.
Fit and align structural parts piping and supports with accuracy.
Perform welding grinding and finishing operations as required.
Inspect fabricated components for dimensional accuracy and quality compliance.
Conduct preventive maintenance of tools and equipment.
Ensure adherence to HSE (Health Safety Environment) standards and site safety procedures.
Collaborate with engineers supervisors and other trades to meet project deadlines.
Maintain records of work progress materials used and quality checks.
Diploma/Certificate in Mechanical Fabrication or related trade.
510 years of experience in fitting/fabrication roles (industrial shipyard oil & gas or construction).
Strong knowledge of fabrication methods welding techniques and material properties.
Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and P&IDs.
