Job Summary
Fireman Job Responsibilities:
- Respond to fire emergencies and operate firefighting equipment effectively.
- Conduct fire prevention inspections and identify potential hazards.
- Maintain and test firefighting systems such as hydrants hoses extinguishers and pumps.
- Assist in rescue operations evacuation procedures and emergency response activities.
- Support safety drills and ensure compliance with HSE and fire safety regulations.
- Maintain readiness of emergency response equipment and fire station facilities.
Requirements
Fireman Requirements:
- High School / Diploma or equivalent qualification.
- Minimum 35 years of experience as a Fireman preferably in Oil & Gas / Industrial sector.
- Knowledge of firefighting systems emergency response and fire safety procedures.
- Physically fit and capable of handling emergency situations.
- Ability to work under pressure and in hazardous environments.
- Valid Qatar ID and immediate availability preferred.
Required Skills:
Physical Fitness: Ability to lift carry and move heavy materials; work in confined or elevated spaces. Experience: Previous experience in insulation work is an advantage but not always required for helper roles. Knowledge: Basic understanding of insulation materials tools and techniques (training is usually provided for helpers). Team Player: Willingness to work under supervision and assist skilled workers. Work Conditions: Comfortable working in cold environments outdoors or at heights. Communication: Ability to follow verbal and written instructions; basic understanding of workplace safety signs and labels.
