Job Summary
Key Responsibilities:
• Lead financial planning budgeting and forecasting for oil & gas projects.
• Monitor project costs analyze variances and recommend corrective actions.
• Prepare and present monthly quarterly and annual financial reports to senior management.
• Ensure compliance with Qatar Energy standards local laws and corporate financial policies.
• Support contract review tender evaluation and commercial negotiations.
• Manage cash flow working capital and funding requirements for projects.
• Handle banking operations including opening amending and closing Letters of Credit (LC) guarantees and other bank instruments.
• Liaise with banks for project financing LC transactions and corporate banking services.
• Develop implement and improve financial processes controls and reporting tools.
• Coordinate with project managers operations procurement and external auditors.
• Provide strategic financial advice to enhance profitability and project performance.
• Mentor and manage the finance team ensuring high performance and development.
Qualifications & Experience:
• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Finance Accounting or related field. CPA/ACCA/CMA preferred.
• Minimum 8–12 years of experience in finance with at least 5 years in oil & gas project finance.
• Strong knowledge of project accounting budgeting cost control financial reporting and banking operations.
