Job Summary
Plant Operations
Monitor local operating parameters and equipment status.
Conduct routine inspections of pumps valves filters membranes chemical dosing systems and auxiliary equipment.
Perform plant start-up shutdown and equipment changeovers according to operating procedures.
Record operational data readings and events in log sheets and shift reports.
Assist in process monitoring and troubleshooting.
Equipment Monitoring & Maintenance
Identify abnormalities leaks vibrations or equipment malfunctions and report them promptly.
Assist maintenance teams during planned and corrective maintenance activities.
Perform basic maintenance tasks such as cleaning lubrication and minor repairs.
Support isolation and reinstatement of equipment before and after maintenance work.
Water Quality & Process Control
Collect water samples and assist with laboratory testing.
Monitor RO membranes pretreatment systems chemical dosing and water quality parameters.
Ensure the plant meets production and quality targets.
Safety & Compliance
Follow all HSE (Health Safety & Environment) procedures.
Use appropriate PPE and comply with permit-to-work requirements.
Report incidents near misses and unsafe conditions.
Maintain good housekeeping standards in operational areas.
Required Qualifications
Diploma or Technical Certificate in Mechanical Electrical Chemical Process or Water Treatment Engineering.
Typically 34 years of experience in:
o RO Desalination Plants - 50 MLD or aboveo Water Treatment Plantso Wastewater Treatment Plants
o Process Industries (chemical power utilities)
