Job Summary
Job Responsibilities:
- Fabricate and assemble structural steel and piping components as per drawings.
- Read and interpret fabrication drawings isometrics and blueprints.
- Perform fit-up cutting grinding and alignment of structural and pipe materials.
- Ensure fabrication work meets quality and safety standards.
- Support installation repair and shutdown activities.
Requirements
Requirements:
- ITI/Trade Certificate or equivalent preferred.
- Minimum 5 years of experience as a Structural & Pipe Fabricator in the Oil & Gas industry.
- Ability to read fabrication drawings isometric drawings and GA drawings.
- Experience in structural steel fabrication pipe fit-up and welding preparation.
- Valid Qatar ID and immediate availability preferred
Required Skills:
Physical Fitness: Ability to lift carry and move heavy materials; work in confined or elevated spaces. Experience: Previous experience in insulation work is an advantage but not always required for helper roles. Knowledge: Basic understanding of insulation materials tools and techniques (training is usually provided for helpers). Team Player: Willingness to work under supervision and assist skilled workers. Work Conditions: Comfortable working in cold environments outdoors or at heights. Communication: Ability to follow verbal and written instructions; basic understanding of workplace safety signs and labels.
