QUALIFICATIONS/EXPERIENCE:
Candidate must be Degree or equivalent in Electrical Engineering with minimum of 10-15 years’ experience in installation of - Transformer MV/LV Switch Board A/C UPS DC UPS and all other Electrical Equipment Supervision of Cable Tray work. Supervision of LV/MV/HV Cable Laying & Termination Work Supervision of Underground & above ground Grounding system Familiar with industrial Lighting work. CANDIDATE MUST BE CERTIFIED FROM UPDA MMUP QATAR WITH GRADE “A” CERTIFICATION. Gulf experienced. Primarily experience in oil and gas sectors onshore/offshore is preferable and then experience power sectors are considered. Familiar with oil and gas safety requirements and good knowledge on application of hazardous area classified equipment. Experience on installation of Generators Transformers MV/LV Switch Board A/C UPS DC UPS and all other Electrical Equipment. Supervision of Cable Tray work. Supervision of LV/MV/HV Cable Laying & Termination Work. Supervision of Underground & above ground Grounding system. Familiar with industrial Lighting work. Experience in installation & maintenance of Electrical Equipment in General. Shall be able to read study trouble shoot electrical drawings of different Equipment. Having experience in EPC in reviewing engineering drawings/documents and specifications is preferred. Must have ability to communicate in English and work independently. The Candidate must be familiar with all kinds of Electrical Drawings Datasheets Specifications International Electrical Standards Test Reports and Progress Monitoring for Petrochemical Refinery Oil & Gas and Offshore Oil Platform Projects. Knowledge of Project Management Construction Management Project Coordination Liasoning with Customers and Consultants Project Planning & Schedule Site Survey and Feasibility Studies Periodic Monitoring and Preparation of Progress Reports. The candidate must have adequate knowledge of verifying the MTO in respect to the project -ordination with Engineering for finalization of MTO Cable route etc. Hazardous area equipment installation maintenance and inspection. Must have sound knowledge of electrical standards of Ex Equipment related Comp Ex certification preferred. SPECIFIC SKILLS AND KNOWLEDGE: Very Good electrical knowledge in Oil & Gas petrochemical fields power sectors in managing EPC Preventive/Corrective/Shutdown Maintenance of different electrical system and equipment that are required to provide direction to the team Good knowledge of international codes & standards Materials & specifications Electrical protection system & Exposure in SCADA ETAP/EDSA/SKM electrical software.
