Electro Mechanical Technician

Key Responsibilities:

• Perform overhaul and maintenance activities in a mechanical/electrical engineering or process environment.
• Carry out basic fault finding and troubleshooting.
• Complete all maintenance records and operational documentation accurately and as per procedures.
• Properly use maintain and care for tools equipment and PPE.
• Follow all applicable Health & Safety requirements including manual handling biohazards and hazardous substances.
• Use computer systems for maintenance records and documentation.
• Read understand and interpret relevant technical publications and procedures.
• Prepare accurate technical and analytical reports when required.
  

Requirements:

• Relevant experience in a mechanical/electrical engineering or process environment.
• Basic fault-finding experience.
• Good documentation and record-keeping skills.
• Ability to understand technical instructions and publications.
• Good computer skills.
• Strong awareness of HSE procedures and safe working practices. Ability to prepare detailed technical reports.
• Knowledge of TACT Equinox or CORMAP
• Experience in a railway/rolling stock maintenance environment is an advantage.
