E&I Inspector Offshore
Job Summary
Responsibilities
Conduct inspections of electrical and instrumentation installations ensuring compliance with project specifications QCS and international standards (IEC/IEEE).
Verify materials equipment and workmanship against approved drawings and procedures.
Enforce offshore HSE requirements including PTW systems confined space entry and electrical isolation procedures.
Prepare inspection reports maintain calibration records and issue NCRs (Non-Conformance Reports) when required.
Liaise with construction teams QA/QC and client representatives during inspections and approvals.
Witness and verify pre-commissioning and commissioning activities for electrical and instrumentation systems.
Ensure all electrical and instrumentation work is executed under valid permits.
Confirm calibration of instruments and maintain traceability records.
Identify hazards in electrical/instrumentation work and recommend corrective actions.
Suggest improvements in inspection practices and safety culture.
Requirements
Qualifications
Bachelors Degree / Diploma in Electrical or Instrumentation Engineering.
Minimum 57 years offshore inspection experience in oil & gas projects.

BOSIET / HUET (OPITO certified)
