Job Summary

Job title: Cost control engineer

Job Responsibilties:

Monitor project budgets costs and financial performance.
Prepare cost reports forecasts and variance analyses.
Track project progress vs. planned budget.
Review contractor invoices and verify cost accuracy.
Assist in developing project cost estimates and budgets.
Identify cost-saving opportunities and highlight risks.
SupportJob project team with financial data for decision-making.
Ensure all cost-related documentation is accurate and updated.
Coordinate with planning procurement and engineering teams.
Ensure compliance with company cost control procedures.

Skills & Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in Engineering Finance or related field.
3–7 years of experience in cost control (Oil & Gas preferred).
Strong knowledge of cost estimation budgeting and cost tracking.
Proficiency in MS Excel; experience with cost control software is a plus.
Good analytical and reporting skills.
Strong communication and teamwork abilities.
