Job Summary
Qualification & Education
- Bachelor’s degree in Quantity Surveying Civil Engineering Construction Management Commercial Management or Business Administration
- Master’s degree (MBA or MSc in Construction/Project Management) is a strong advantage
- Professional Certifications (Highly Preferred)
- MRICS / FRICS (Royal Institution of Chartered Surveyors)
- MCIOB (Chartered Institute of Building)
- Chartered Quantity Surveyor (CQS) or equivalent
- PMP or equivalent project management certification (added value)
Experience
- 12–20 years of progressive experience in commercial management within large construction infrastructure or EPC organizations
- Proven track record managing high-value projects (USD 50M / QAR 200M)
- Experience across pre-contract and post-contract functions
- GCC experience strongly preferred (Qatar KSA UAE)
- Core Commercial Expertise
- Contract administration (FIDIC Red/Yellow/Silver Books)
- Claims management variations EOTs and dispute resolution
- Cost control cash-flow forecasting CVRs and financial reporting
- Procurement strategy subcontractor negotiation and contract awards
- Risk identification mitigation and commercial governance
- Value engineering and cost optimization
