We are Sisco Jobs a recruitment consultancy based in Trichy Tamil Nadu. We are hiring on behalf of our client for the position of CNC Supervisor (Steelworks) in Qatar. Our client is a reputed organization in the Shipyard / Steel Fabrication sector seeking skilled motivated professionals. If you meet the requirements below apply early as positions are limited.
- Supervise day-to-day CNC operations supporting steel fabrication and shipyard production activities.
- Coordinate CNC machine workloads manpower allocation and production priorities to achieve planned output.
- Ensure CNC cutting and machining activities are performed according to approved drawings dimensions and production requirements.
- Monitor machine performance tooling conditions material utilization and production quality.
- Guide CNC operators on machine setup operating parameters troubleshooting and safe working practices.
- Coordinate with fabrication production maintenance and quality teams to minimize production interruptions.
- Inspect completed work for dimensional accuracy and compliance with required fabrication standards.
- Maintain operational discipline housekeeping safety compliance and production records within the CNC work area.
- CNC Operations Supervision Ability to coordinate operators machines production schedules and daily shop-floor activities.
- Steel Fabrication Knowledge Understanding of steel cutting fabrication processes materials dimensions and production workflows.
- Technical Drawing Interpretation Ability to read fabrication drawings dimensions tolerances and machining requirements.
- CNC Machine Knowledge Practical understanding of machine setup operating parameters tooling and common CNC operating issues.
- Quality & Safety Control Ability to maintain dimensional accuracy production quality and safe shop-floor practices.
- Previous shipyard or marine fabrication exposure.
- CNC production planning and material optimization knowledge.
- Experience coordinating maintenance and quality teams in heavy fabrication environments.
Relevant experience in CNC operations supervision preferably within a shipyard or steel fabrication environment is preferred. The source does not specify a minimum number of years. A typical supervisory profile for this type of role may involve approximately 58 years of relevant industrial experience including hands-on CNC exposure.
- Minimum: Diploma / Industrial Training Certificate in Engineering or Equivalent
- Preferred: Relevant engineering or manufacturing certification
- Additional: CNC machining fabrication safety or related technical certifications may be advantageous
