Assistant People & Development Manager
Job Summary
We are seeking a detail-oriented and organized Assistant People & Development Manager to join our team in Lusail this role you will provide essential support to our People & Development department assisting with the full spectrum of human resources operations employee development initiatives and administrative functions. You will work collaboratively with the management team to ensure smooth HR processes and contribute to creating a positive workplace culture.
- Support the recruitment process including job posting candidate screening interview coordination and onboarding of new employees
- Assist in organizing and coordinating employee development programs training sessions and professional development opportunities
- Maintain accurate and confidential HR records documentation and personnel files in compliance with organizational policies
- Support performance management processes including scheduling reviews and assisting with documentation
- Coordinate employee engagement activities and workplace initiatives to foster a positive work environment
- Process HR-related administrative tasks including leave requests payroll support and benefits administration
- Assist with HR compliance matters and ensure adherence to company policies and local regulations
- Provide administrative support to the People & Development Manager and other HR team members as needed
- Respond to employee inquiries regarding HR policies procedures and benefits in a professional and supportive manner
- Maintain and update HR databases and systems with accurate information
Qualifications :
- Proven experience in HR operations HR administration or a similar support role
- Strong knowledge of HR processes practices and employment regulations
- Excellent organizational and time management skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities
- Proficiency with HR management systems and Microsoft Office Suite (Word Excel PowerPoint)
- Outstanding written and verbal communication skills
- Demonstrated ability to handle confidential and sensitive information with discretion
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy in record-keeping
- Customer service orientation with a supportive and professional demeanor
- Ability to work collaboratively within a team environment
- Preferred experience with recruitment and onboarding processes
- Preferred knowledge of employee development and training program coordination
- Preferred familiarity with performance management systems
- Preferred multilingual abilities (Arabic language skills are advantageous)
- Preferred understanding of HR compliance and local labor laws in Qatar
