Analyzer Technician
Job Summary
Carry out installation maintenance troubleshooting and modification/engineering of a wide range of online analyzers and associated equipment.
Receive daily work schedules and instructions from the resident engineer/supervisor analyzers. Obtain approved permit to work necessary tools and spare parts to carry out jobs. Ensure all work is completed according to specific instructions applicable work methods and QHSE standards.
Perform routine predictive and preventive maintenance checks on various online analyzers and associated equipment. Conduct verification tests and test runs after maintenance and troubleshooting.
Carry out major shutdown maintenance or engineering work.
Install new online analyzers and associated equipment as directed. Execute equipment and system modifications per instructions from the resident engineer analyzers.
Maintain a maintenance logbook recording details of work carried out/completed including defaults problems findings and equipment/system conditions.
Comply with all Company Health Safety & Environmental policies and procedures.
Conduct all work activities safely and responsibly. Avoid unsafe tasks and consult supervisor/engineer if in doubt.
Attend HSE meetings and participate in Company QHSE promotional programs.
Report all accidents incidents or near misses to supervisor/manager or QHSE Department.
Perform other similar or related duties as assigned.
Educational Requirements: 3year fulltime Diploma in Electronics Instrumentation or Automation from a recognized engineering college/university.
Experience: Minimum of 6 years experience in maintenance of online analyzers in the Oil & Gas industry.
