Accountant
Job Summary
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in Finance Accounting or a related field (Professional qualifications like CA ACCA CIMA etc. are preferred).
- 35 years of experience in Finance or Accounting.
- Exposure to IFRS is preferable.
- Good knowledge of Microsoft Office applications and ERP software.
- Proficient in English (Arabic is desirable).
- Middle East experience is preferable.
Key Responsibilities:
- Process transactions book entries and prepare reconciliations and relevant schedules.
- Ensure financial and accounting transactions comply with Milaha’s policies and relevant reporting standards.
- Provide support for budgeting Quarterly Business Reviews (QBRs) and other operational financerelated functions.
- Implement necessary financial controls systems and processes to support business operations.
- Perform various account reconciliations and system bank reconciliations.
- Review trial balance revenue and expense accounts for errors before monthend closing.
- Prepare and post entries for monthend closing processes.
- Perform intercompany transactions and support management reporting and data analytics.
- Ensure compliance with internal controls and Milaha policies.
- Assist business units with financial advice and insights.
- Participate in health & safety security and quality initiatives.
