Job Summary

We are seeking a Sr. Associate EHS with a strong technical background in Environmental Health & Safety to support capital projects equipment installations and EHS activities within regulated industrial pharmaceutical biotechnology or manufacturing environments.

Requirements

Bachelors or higher degree in Environmental Health & Safety or related technical field preferred.

Professional certifications such as CSP ASP and OSHA certifications are not required but are highly preferred and considered for this role.

Knowledge of EH&S regulations industry standards and risk management principles applicable to construction engineering and manufacturing environments.

Experience supporting capital projects and equipment installations within regulated industrial pharmaceutical biotechnology or manufacturing facilities preferred.

Knowledge and experience in (preferred):

-Process Safety Management (PSM)

-Pre-Start-Up Safety Reviews (PSSR)

-Management of Change (MOC)

-Hazardous and Compressed Gases

-Pressure Safety

-Machine Safeguarding

-Lockout/Tagout (LOTO)

-Construction Safety

-Fire & Life Safety Systems

Ability to interpret engineering drawings P&IDs equipment layouts and technical specifications preferred.

Support during shutdowns startups and other project-related activities outside of normal working hours may be required.

Strong technical writing communication and presentation skills.

Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite and other electronic EH&S management systems.

Bilingual (English/Spanish)

Ability to work independently and manage multiple projects simultaneously in a fast-paced environment.

Strong organizational and prioritization skills.

Required Skills:

Education: Doctorate 2 years of Project Management experience or Masters 4 years of Project Management experience or Bachelors 6 years of Project Management experience or Associates 10 years of Project Management experience or High school/GED 12 years of Project Manage Change Control experience Fluent business English and Spanish written and oral Effective verbal and written communication skills (writing and presentations). Understanding and experience with Ariba Sourcing and Contracting Modules. Experience with SAP Trackwise and Project management tools preferred. Highly proficient with MS Office including Excel Word and PowerPoint Practical project management software and spreadsheet skills proficient computer operation skills.
