Job Summary

We are seeking a detail-oriented and technically skilled professional to support laboratory operations by ensuring the accuracy and compliance of laboratory equipment calibration records. The ideal candidate will have experience reviewing calibration data maintaining equipment performance and troubleshooting laboratory instruments.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Review and verify laboratory equipment calibration data to ensure accuracy completeness and compliance with applicable procedures and regulatory requirements.
  • Monitor calibration schedules and support timely completion of preventive maintenance activities.
  • Investigate calibration discrepancies and implement corrective actions when necessary.
  • Troubleshoot laboratory equipment issues and coordinate repairs or maintenance activities as required.
  • Collaborate with laboratory personnel quality teams and maintenance groups to ensure equipment reliability and operational readiness.
  • Maintain accurate documentation related to calibration maintenance and troubleshooting activities.
  • Support continuous improvement initiatives related to laboratory equipment performance and compliance.

Requirements
  • Associates or Bachelors degree in Engineering Life Sciences Chemistry Biotechnology or a related technical field.
  • Experience working with laboratory equipment calibration maintenance or instrumentation.
  • Strong understanding of calibration records documentation practices and regulatory compliance requirements.
  • Hands-on experience troubleshooting laboratory instruments and diagnosing technical issues.
  • Ability to analyze data identify trends and resolve equipment-related problems.
  • Strong communication and organizational skills.
  • Experience in a pharmaceutical biotechnology or regulated manufacturing environment is preferred.
Preferred Skills:
  • Knowledge of GMP GLP and data integrity requirements.
  • Experience with laboratory systems and computerized maintenance management systems (CMMS).
  • Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
