Design Automation Engineer

We are seeking motivated and detail-oriented Design Automation Engineers to support the design development and implementation of automated equipment and systems.

Responsibilities:

• Contribute to the design and programming of PLCs assist in the integration of vision systems and support robotic automation projects to improve manufacturing processes.
• Assist in creating CAD models wiring schematics and ensuring compliance with safety and quality standards.
• Work with cross-functional teams in a dynamic environment providing strong foundation in automation technologies.

Requirements:

• Bachelor Degree in Engineering (Electrical and Mechanical backgrounds preferred).
• Previous 2 years experience in regulated industry (Pharma Biotech or Medical Devices).
• Experience in programming and troubleshooting PLCs (Siemens Allen-Bradley).
• Familiarity with vision systems (Cognex Keyence) and robotics (FANUC ABB) with the ability to assist in system integration and troubleshooting.
• Proficiency in CAD software (SolidWorks AutoCAD) with knowledge of electrical wiring and schematics.

*This position will be full-time 100% on site in Puerto Rico.
