We are looking for a Valuation Business Analyst to join our clients XVA team in Krakow. You will take ownership of fair value governance working with senior stakeholders across tradingriskand finance to ensure valuations areaccuratecompliantand aligned with regulatory expectations. Position Overview
This role sits at the heart ofvaluationgovernance within the XVA business. You will oversee fair value adjustments independent priceverificationand prudent valuation adjustments ensuring all processes meet internal standards and external regulatory requirements. Your work directlyimpactsthe accuracy of financial reporting and the integrity of theorganisationsrisk management framework. You will be a trusted advisor to the trading team and a key liaison with auditcomplianceand other finance functions.
Responsibilities
Review and oversee fair value adjustments independent priceverificationand prudent valuation adjustments across XVA business
Lead valuationmethodologydiscussions contributing to global alignment and continuous enhancement of processes
Serve as primary contact point for XVA trading team and key stakeholders across front office traded riskoperationsand finance
Drive implementation of valuation changes engaging the business and ensuring smooth transitions
Collaborate with other asset class valuation teams to improve consistencyqualityand control effectiveness
Identifyand champion process improvements that strengthen controls and increase operational efficiency
Maintain internal control standards ensuringtimelyresolution of assurance and audit findings
Ensure full compliance with internal policies regulatoryrequirementsand global markets frameworks
Stay informed on XVA industry developments and best practice in valuation techniques
Requirements
University degree in finance economics mathematics physicsengineeringor related discipline
Advanced Excelproficiency(essential); VBAAccessor SQL knowledge (preferred)
Strong understanding of financial instruments and valuation methodologies
Excellent analytical skills with a proactive approach to problem solving
Ability to manage relationships with multiple senior stakeholders across theorganisation
Self-motivatedambitiousand capable of working independently with minimal supervision
Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English
CFA or FRM qualification (desirable)
