About the role
We are looking for an experienced Accounting Controller (Record-to-Report) to manage end-to-end financial accounting and reporting activities for multiple legal entities. This role is responsible for ensuring accurate financial statements statutory compliance audit coordination and IFRS/IAS adherence while supporting regional accounting operations in a shared services environment. The position requires strong technical accounting expertise hands-on operational ownership and close collaboration with business units GBS teams auditors and tax authorities.
Key responsibilities
- Manage monthly quarterly and year-end financial closing activities for multiple entities.
- Prepare and review financial statements in compliance with IFRS Local GAAP and internal policies.
- Oversee general ledger intercompany fixed asset and treasury accounting processes.
- Ensure compliance with statutory tax and regulatory reporting requirements.
- Coordinate internal and external audits and support tax assessments and filings.
- Analyze Balance Sheet and P&L accounts resolving accounting issues and ensuring reporting accuracy.
- Drive process improvements automation and standardization across accounting operations.
- Partner with business units GBS teams auditors and stakeholders on accounting and financial matters.
Job requirements
- 5 years of experience in accounting financial reporting or Record-to-Report operations.
- Masters degree or CA qualification in Finance Accounting or related field.
- Strong knowledge of IFRS Local GAAP tax regulations and statutory compliance.
- Experience with ERP and reporting systems such as SAP and HFM.
- Strong analytical stakeholder management and communication skills.
- Fluency in English and Czech is required.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced international environment.
