They are seeking an experienced UX/UI Designer to join their team on a contract basis in Warsaw. This role offers the opportunity to work on sophisticated digital products leading researchdesignand implementation processes that directlyimpactuser experience and business outcomes.

Position Overview

As a UX/UI Designer you will take ownership of the complete design process frominitialuser research through to development handover and quality assurance. You will work closely with users stakeholders productmanagersand development teams to create intuitiveaccessibleand visually compelling interfaces. This role requires someone who can balance strategic thinking with hands-on design execution ensuring all outputs meet accessibility standards and align with established design systems and frameworks.

Responsibilities

  • Lead meetings with users clients productsponsorsand technology teams to gather requirements

  • Plan and conduct UX research defining information architecture userjourneysand personas

  • Identifyrelevant metrics and data to support decision-making and guide technical partners

  • Collaborate with stakeholders business analysts productmanagersand developers to co-create solutions

  • Apply UI design guidelines and frameworks specific to theorganisationsstandards

  • Create visually compelling interfaces with strong attention to usability typographycolourtheory and layout

  • Use Figma to develop wireframes interactive prototypes high-fidelity designs andmaintaindesign systems

  • Conduct testing tovalidateand inform design decisions throughout the project lifecycle

  • Contribute to design standards bestpracticesand the wider design community

  • Perform detailed handovers to development teams with comprehensive design specifications

  • Provide ongoing support during development with regular UX review checkpoints

  • Ensure all designscomply withADA/WCAG accessibility standards

  • Stay current with UX practicesinnovationsand tools

  • Promote the value of UX across theorganisation

  • Apply Design Thinking and Google Design Sprint methodologies during discovery and prototyping phases

Requirements

  • 6-8 years of experience in UX/UI design

  • Advancedproficiencyin Figma with experience using other professional design tools such as Sketch Adobe XD Axure or InVision

  • Strong visual design skills withexpertisein usability typographycolourtheory and layout

  • Experience conducting UX research defining informationarchitectureand creating user journeys and personas

  • Proven ability to lead meetings with usersclientsand cross-functional teams

  • Experience working with and creating design systems

  • Knowledge of HTML5 and CSS3

  • Understanding of ADA/WCAG accessibility standards and compliance

  • Experience with Design Thinking and Google Design Sprint methodologies

  • Ability to perform user testing and use data to inform design decisions

  • Experience collaborating with business analysts productmanagersand development teams

  • Knowledge of monitoring solutions such as CloudWatch Prometheus or ELK stack

  • Exposure to large-scale systems design

  • Experience building ormaintainingcloud-native applications

  • Active participation in external UX groups or communities
