Technical Color Support with French (mfd)
Job Summary
At PPG we work every day to protect and beautify the world. As a Technical Color Support Specialist with French you will become part of our Architectural Coatings team supporting customers in the French market with color-related inquiries paint formulations and technical product information.
This is an excellent opportunity for candidates who enjoy working with customers solving problems and using their French language skills in an international environment. No specialist color formulation experience is required at the start we will provide comprehensive training and support.
Work model: Office-based Monday-Thursday with flexibility to work remotely on Fridays
Working hours: 8:00-16:00 or 9:00-17:00
Office location: Curie-Skłodowskiej 12 Wrocław
Your Responsibilities:
- Provide technical support to French-speaking customers via email phone and ticketing systems.
- Analyze customer inquiries related to colors paint products and formulations.
- Search for and validate color formulations using internal databases SAP Salesforce Excel and specialized color systems.
- Support customers with color matching requests and product-related questions.
- Investigate color-related issues and coordinate with expert teams in France when escalation is required.
- Maintain accurate documentation of customer requests and resolutions.
- Collaborate with Sales Product Development and Color Development teams.
- Prepare and maintain technical documentation FAQs and troubleshooting materials.
- Ensure timely and professional resolution of customer inquiries while meeting service-level expectations.
- Build strong relationships with customers and internal stakeholders.
Requirements:
- Fluent French (written and spoken).
- Good English skills (written and spoken).
- Strong communication and customer service skills.
- Problem-solving mindset and attention to detail.
- Ability to learn new systems and processes quickly.
- Good knowledge of MS Office (especially Excel).
- Team-oriented attitude and willingness to work in an international environment.
Nice-to-Have:
- Experience in customer service technical support helpdesk or a similar role.
- Experience with Salesforce SAP ERP or ticketing systems.
- Bachelors degree.
- Interest in technical products paints coatings or color-related topics.
