You will join the Tech Ops Track & Trace team where we work in a diverse multi-country setup supporting factory and supply chain operations.

In this role you will support the deployment of Track & Trace capabilities to ensure PMI products and affiliates comply with government regulations and PMI 10C policy. You will partner closely with business and factory stakeholders to plan deliver and stabilize rollouts across sites.

Working in the Track & Trace domain you will contribute to end-to-end rollout execution across External Affairs Production Planning Manufacturing Logistics Finance and Commercialensuring each site is ready for go-live and supported through hypercare.

You will work with a wide ecosystem of technologies (cloud SaaS and on-premises web and mobile) including shopfloor solutions and warehouse scanningfocusing on environment readiness configuration testing release/cutover activities and operational handover.

Your day to day:

  • Plan and execute deployments of Track & Trace applications across factories/sites coordinating scope timeline and dependencies with Face of Ops Tech/Deployment Team and FFS as well as business stakeholders.
  • Drive site readiness: infrastructure prerequisites connectivity device/scanner setup user access and local configuration aligned with global standards.
  • Coordinate test cycles (SIT/UAT) with factories and vendors track defects and ensure resolution prior to go-live.
  • Prepare and run cutover/go-live activities including deployment runbooks rollback plans and communication to impacted teams.
  • Provide hypercare support post go-live monitor service health with relevant tools and coordinate incident/problem resolution with regional/global support teams.
  • Ensure proper handover to operations: update documentation/knowledge base confirm support model and align SLAs and monitoring.
  • Deliver training and onboarding sessions for FSS/SMO and key users covering new procedures releases and compliance-relevant changes.
  • Manage stakeholders and governance: regular status reporting risk/issue tracking and escalation when deployment milestones are at risk.
  • Support security and compliance activities during deployments (access reviews hardening resilience testing) in line with PMI IT security standards.

Who we are looking for:

  • 36 years of tech experience ideally in manufacturing logistics or shopfloor/warehouse environments.
  • Hands-on experience in application deployment/rollout (planning readiness testing cutover hypercare) across multiple sites or business units.
  • Good understanding of IT service management fundamentals (incident change problem) and familiarity with tools such as ServiceNow (or equivalent).
  • Ability to coordinate multiple stakeholders (factory users local IT vendors global teams) and communicate clearly in a structured way.
  • Comfortable producing and maintaining deployment documentation (runbooks checklists test evidence handover packs).
  • Analytical mindset with strong problem-solving skills and the ability to work effectively during go-live and critical periods.
  • Fluent in written and spoken English.

An Asset Would Be:

  • Experience with manufacturing/supply chain systems (e.g. SAP ERP MES) and/or serialization/traceability solutions.
  • Exposure to DevOps/release practices (CI/CD automated testing monitoring) and tools such as Kibana/Grafana (or equivalent).
  • Certification or training in ITIL Agile or project delivery fundamentals.
  • Basic integration knowledge (APIs message flows) and familiarity with integration platforms (e.g. MuleSoft) is desirable.
