Team Lead Fullstack Engineer

What will you do

Join a technology team within Risk & Compliance focused on Model Risk Management and Operational Risk Management solutions. You will design build and support enterprise-grade applications with a strong emphasis on backend development using Java and Spring technologies while contributing to React and TypeScript front-end delivery when required. The role combines hands-on engineering solution design technical leadership and close collaboration with Agile delivery teams to build resilient scalable and production-ready platforms.

Your tasks

• Design build and support backend services and APIs using Java and Spring
• Create solution designs and technical documentation including UML diagrams
• Deliver end-to-end features across backend and frontend components
• Implement microservices and micro-database architectures with clear API contracts
• Build integrations using event-driven architecture patterns
• Develop workflow-driven capabilities using BPMN-based solutions
• Ensure production readiness through logging monitoring resilience and error handling
• Develop and maintain batch processing solutions
• Drive software quality through automated testing and code scanning
• Containerize and deploy applications using Docker and Kubernetes
• Collaborate within Agile Scrum teams using JIRA and Confluence
• Provide technical leadership mentoring and delivery guidance to team members

Your skills

• 8 years of enterprise application development experience
• 2 years of technical team leadership experience
• Strong expertise in Java
• Strong expertise in Spring Boot Spring Data Spring REST Spring Security and Spring Profiles
• Hands-on experience with microservices architecture
• Hands-on experience with micro-database architecture
• Experience with event-driven systems
• Experience with ReactJS
• Experience with TypeScript
• Experience creating API specifications using Swagger or OpenAPI
• Strong automated testing skills with JUnit and mocking frameworks
• Experience supporting batch processing applications
• Strong understanding of logging and error handling practices
• Hands-on experience with Docker
• Hands-on experience with Kubernetes
• Cloud services development experience
• Experience with code scanning and remediation of security and quality findings
• Experience working in Agile Scrum environments
• Experience using JIRA and Confluence
