As a Systems Administrator you will provide technical support and infrastructure management for critical banking systems. Your role involves managing Linux environments overseeing system patching troubleshooting connectivity issues and ensuring incident resolution. You will work collaboratively with the technical team to maintain system stability and resolve problems efficiently.

• Administer and maintain Linux systems with specific expertise in Red Hat Linux environments
• Manage Veritas Cluster configurations updates and troubleshooting across production systems
• Execute system patching schedules and manage updates within Linux and related environments
• Diagnose and resolve technical issues related to system connectivity and firewall configurations
• Provide technical support during incident and problem management processes
• Analyse system issues using strong problem-solving and analytical approaches
• Collaborate with team members to communicate technical findings and support resolutions
• Support flexible shift patterns including weekend availability as required

• Essential: Fluent German language (mandatory) and English language proficiency
• 6-8 years of system administration experience
• Proven Linux system administration expertise preferably Red Hat Linux
• Demonstrated Veritas Cluster skills and hands-on experience
• Experience with system patching and updates in Linux environments
• Technical knowledge of network connectivity and firewall rule management
• Strong troubleshooting and technical support capabilities
• Incident and problem management experience
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities
• Ability to work flexible hours and shifts including weekends
• Desirable: Previous experience working within a regulated banking or financial services environment
