Supply Planner
Job Summary
We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Supply Planner with a focus on operational planning projects and expertise in SAP Integrated Business Planning (IBP). The ideal candidate will possess strong analytical skills a deep understanding of supply chain management principles and hands-on experience leveraging SAP IBP to optimize supply chain operations. The Supply Planner will collaborate cross-functionally to ensure on-time delivery support Sales and Operations Execution (S&OE) processes drive continuous improvement initiatives contribute and execute projects.
Key Responsibilities:
Operational Planning:
- Develop and maintain short-term and long-term supply plans to meet demand requirements and service while optimizing inventory levels and minimizing costs.
- Monitor inventory levels and execute replenishment strategies to ensure product availability while minimizing excess and obsolete inventory.
- Coordinate within cross functional teams (production regional teams CTS etc.) to schedule manufacturing and distribution activities in alignment with demand forecasts.
- Analyse supply chain performance metrics identify areas for improvement and implement corrective actions to enhance operational efficiency.
- Partner with demand planning teams to understand demand forecasts and incorporate them into supply plans.
- Proactively identify potential supply constraints and develop contingency plans to mitigate risks and ensure customer satisfaction.
- Participate in S&OE meetings to discuss supply constraints production schedules and inventory management strategies to ensure customer order fulfillment.
- Collaborate with S&OE teams to identify potential disruptions develop action plans and communicate supply chain impacts to stakeholders.
Projects Support:
- Provide support for supply chain improvement projects aimed at enhancing processes reducing lead times and increasing overall supply chain agility.
- Assist project leads in identifying opportunities for process optimization cost reduction and service level improvement within SAP IBP.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to collect and analyse data develop project plans within SAP IBP and support the implementation of key initiatives.
- Assist in monitoring project progress tracking key performance indicators (KPIs) and communicating updates to stakeholders.
- Utilize SAP IBP data and insights to support project decision-making and ensure alignment with supply chain objectives.
Professional Requirements
- Bachelors degree in Supply Chain Management Operations Management Business Administration or a related field professional certifications (e.g. APICS CPIM) advantage.
- 3 years of experience in supply chain planning preferably in FMCG environment.
Proficiency in supply chain planning tools and ERP systems (e.g. SAP IBP SAP HANA/ECC). - Hands-on experience with SAP IBP particularly utilizing the optimizer module is highly advantageous.
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret data draw insights and make data-driven decisions.
- Effective communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to collaborate with stakeholders at all levels of the organization.
- Demonstrated ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment adapt to changing priorities and manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
- Knowledge of supply chain management principles lean manufacturing methodologies and continuous improvement techniques is a plus.
