Job Title: Senior Software Development Engineer

Location: Warsaw PL - 50% onsite 50% remote

Duration: 12 Months contract

Salary: 24410 PLN/month on Employment Contract

Ability to flex working hours from Warsaw to align with key team ceremonies on Pacific Time (daily stand ups at 9:00 a.m. PT / 6:00 p.m. Warsaw and refinement/sprint planning at 10:00 a.m. PT / 7:00 p.m. Warsaw).

Job Summary

Senior Software Development Engineer (contingent) for Client Demo Platform team building and operating the services and UIs that power our global presales demos. You will own end to end design and implementation of scalable Kotlin/JVM services REST APIs and React/TypeScript front ends contribute to architectural decisions and help evolve our cloud based CI/CD and infrastructure as code stack. You will collaborate closely with distributed teammates and presales stakeholders across multiple time zones driving innovation reliability and usability in our demo platform. Role based in Warsaw Poland or Heredia Costa Rica.

Basic Qualifications

• 5 years of professional software development experience including designing building and operating production services
• Strong programming skills in a statically typed language (ideally Kotlin or Java)
• Experience designing and building REST APIs and integrating with distributed services
• Experience with JavaScript/TypeScript in a modern front end framework (preferably React)
• Solid understanding of SQL and relational database design
• Demonstrated ability to work effectively with a globally distributed team collaborating across multiple time zones and using both synchronous and asynchronous communication
• Experience taking ownership of features or systems from design through delivery and ongoing support

Technical Skills

Must Have:

Kotlin or Java REST API development React TypeScript or JavaScript SQL relational database design JVM ecosystem experience CI/CD pipelines cloud deployment automated testing Linux git strong object oriented design

Nice To Have:

Kotlin (specifically) Terraform infrastructure as code Jenkins Cypress WATS design patterns SOLID principles dependency injection UX focused front end development performance optimization observability and monitoring Docker or containerization scripting (e.g. Bash Python)

Other Qualifications

• Deep experience with Kotlin and the broader JVM ecosystem
• Familiarity with infrastructure as code tools (e.g. Terraform)
• Experience with CI/CD pipelines and cloud based deployment models (e.g. Jenkins)
• Strong grounding in software design principles (design patterns SOLID dependency injection)
• Experience with automated testing and quality tooling (e.g. Cypress WATS or similar) and a strong focus on code quality
• Experience delivering UX focused features in partnership with designers or internal stakeholders
• Comfortable working in Linux based environments and with command line tooling
• Clear written and verbal communication skills including documenting and explaining technical and architectural decisions
• Demonstrated ability to mentor other engineers provide thoughtful code reviews and positively influence team engineering practices
• High degree of self motivation ownership and problem solving skills with the ability to independently identify prioritize and drive work to completion
• Interest in supporting internal users triaging issues from solution consultants and turning their needs into improvements to the demo platform
