About the Role
We are looking for an experienced ServiceNow Solution Architect to lead the design governance and implementation of enterprise-scale ServiceNow solutions. The successful candidate will play a key role in defining the future ServiceNow architecture ensuring alignment with business objectives enterprise architecture standards and ServiceNow best practices.
This role requires deep expertise in CMDB CSDM and IT Asset Management (ITAM) and the ability to translate complex business requirements into scalable maintainable and future-proof solutions.
Key Responsibilities:
Solution Architecture
- Design end-to-end ServiceNow solutions across multiple modules and business domains.
- Define solution architecture technical designs data models and integration patterns.
- Ensure solutions are scalable secure supportable and aligned with ServiceNow best practices.
- Review and approve technical designs produced by development teams and implementation partners.
CMDB & CSDM Leadership
- Own the architectural vision for the data on ServiceNow platform.
- Lead the implementation and continuous improvement of the Common Service Data Model (CSDM).
- Define relationships between business services technical services service offerings applications infrastructure and assets.
- Establish governance and quality standards for configuration and service data.
IT Asset Management
- Architect solutions supporting Software Asset Management (SAM) and Hardware Asset Management (HAM).
- Define integration strategies between ITAM CMDB procurement and discovery tools.
Platform Governance
- Establish architectural data standards design principles and implementation guardrails.
- Promote out-of-the-box capabilities and minimize unnecessary customization.
- Participate in Technical Governance Board.
- Support platform upgrades and roadmap planning.
Stakeholder Management
- Collaborate with business stakeholders product owners enterprise architects and technical teams.
- Facilitate workshops to gather requirements and define solution directions.
- Provide architectural guidance to developers administrators and platform teams.
- Manage relationships with implementation partners and vendors.
Required Qualifications:
Experience
- 5 years of ServiceNow experience.
- 2 years as Solution Architect Technical Architect Lead Consultant or equivalent role.
- Proven track record of delivering ServiceNow solutions in large enterprises.
- Experience working in global multi-stakeholder environments.
Mandatory Technical Skills
- Expert-level knowledge of CMDB architecture and governance.
- Strong practical experience with ServiceNow CSDM and service modeling.
- Strong experience with IT Asset Management (ITAM) including SAM and HAM.
- Strong understanding of ServiceNow data model and platform architecture.
- Experience with ITSM and related ServiceNow products.
- Experience designing integrations using REST APIs IntegrationHub MID Server and related technologies.
- Understanding of data governance identification and reconciliation and CMDB Health.
