How youll add value
- Lead mentor and inspire a team of engineers fostering a collaborative and high-performance work environment
- Be a part of a push to improve the product delivery process
- Drive the development and execution of technical strategies and initiatives to improve the quality of our product
- Partner with Product to shape the roadmap and ensure engineering decisions align with user needs
- Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams to understand business requirements and ensure the timely delivery of relevant features
- Identify and address technical challenges ensuring the scalability reliability and usability of our Marketplace products
- Foster a culture of continuous improvement encouraging innovation and driving operational efficiency
- Champion adoption of AI-assisted development tools across the team
- Manage project timelines resources and priorities to meet business objectives
Youll be successful in this role if you
- Have 2 years of experience leading and managing high-performing engineering teams
- Are proficient in at least one modern programming language (PHP JS/TS) and experience with relevant frameworks
- Have excellent communication skills with the ability to collaborate effectively with diverse stakeholders managing competing priorities
- Have ability to keep the team focused on key initiatives while maintaining operational excellence
- Are familiar with relational databases (e.g. MariaDB PostgreSQL)
- Have strong problem-solving skills and the ability to drive technical solutions in a fast-paced environment
- Are proficient in working with agile projects setting KPIs defining and executing OKRs
- Understand the fundamental design principles behind a scalable application
- Are fluent in English
